Winfield R-IV School District is located in the Southeast corner of Lincoln County.  Serving the incorporated towns of Winfield, Old Monroe, and Foley, the campus is located in Winfield, a rural area 15 miles North of interstate 70 at the intersection of highways 79 and 47.  The district is bordered by the Mississippi River to the East, the Cuivre River to the South, and is surrounded by rolling hills suitable for farming or scenic country living.

The Winfield R-IV School district is a smoke free, tobacco free, vapor free campus.  The district prohibits the use of all tobacco products or substances appearing to be tobacco products including electronic cigarettes everywhere on the district's property.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Pre-School Screening

Pre-School Screening:  August 1st -August 3rd from 8:00-2:00 p.m.  Please call our main office to set up your appointment 636-668-8195.

Substitute Positions Available

The Winfield R-IV School District needs substitutes for the following: teachers, custodians, cafeteria workers, and bus drivers. Please ask your friends or neighbors if they would be interested, or do they know any who might be interested in filling these positions. Please contact Central Office @ 636-668-8188. Peggy will be glad to assist anyone interested in applying.

Summer School 2017

Summer School will be held May 31-June 30. Times: K-8th Grade: 7:45-2:45. High School (1) 7:45-11:00 and (2) 11:30-2:45. Breakfast and lunch will be served and transportation will be available.
